I know you may be thinking that it’s easy to grab healthy recipes off the Web for free, but it’s not so easy to find this number of recipes in one place that use natural low-glycemic sweeteners, gluten-free or whole grain flours, and healthy fats in each and every one.
Many of the ingredients used in my dessert recipes are quite exceptional—like coconut palm sugar for example. Coconut palm sugar is low-glycemic (safe for diabetics), rich in vitamins and minerals, very low in fructose, and is absolutely delicious! Through a lot of trial and error, I have figured out how to use this outstanding natural sweetener and other healthy ingredients to make the most delicious desserts EVER!
Many recipes have a healthy ingredient or two, but not the trifecta of wholegrain flours, natural sweeteners, and healthy fats you will find here! And, the few others that do contain these, don’t always have great taste.
That is what propelled me to create the Sweet Eats cookbooks. I was frustrated trying to find healthier dessert recipes that met my nutritional criteria while also providing terrific taste. Not to mention, I didn’t have the patience to spend hours searching the Web. I knew if I was feeling this way about the recipes available, others were, too!
